LXHTR Snap Closure Fire Sleeve is a removable high-temperature protection sleeve designed for installed hoses, cables, and pipes. Featuring a heavy-duty metal snap fastening system, it provides reliable thermal and flame protection without requiring equipment disassembly. Ideal for steel mills, foundries, oil & gas facilities, and OEM equipment applications.
Removable Fire Protection for Installed Components
LXHTR Snap Closure Fire Sleeves are designed for hydraulic hoses, industrial pipes, cables and wiring systems that cannot be disconnected during installation. Constructed from a high-bulk fiberglass sleeve coated with thick silicone rubber and secured by metal snap fasteners, these sleeves provide reliable thermal protection while allowing quick installation, inspection and maintenance.
Unlike standard fire sleeves that require components to be threaded through the sleeve before assembly, the snap closure design wraps directly around existing equipment, minimizing downtime and simplifying retrofit projects.

Need a Custom Fire Sleeve Solution?
Contact our team with your hose size, operating temperature and application details. We will recommend the most suitable fire sleeve specification for your project.
1. What is a silicone fire sleeve used for?
Silicone fire sleeves are used to protect hydraulic hoses, cables, fuel lines and pipes from high temperatures, flame exposure and molten metal splash.
2. What temperature can a silicone fire sleeve withstand?
The operating temperature depends on the material specification. Please refer to the technical specifications section.
3. Can silicone fire sleeves protect against molten metal splash?
Yes. The silicone-coated outer layer helps resist molten metal splash and reduces damage caused by high-temperature particles.
4. Are silicone fire sleeves suitable for hydraulic hoses?
Yes. They are widely used as hydraulic hose fire sleeves in steel mills, foundries, mining equipment and industrial machinery.
5. Can fire sleeves be used for electrical cables?
Yes. They are commonly used to protect cables, wire harnesses and sensor wiring in high-temperature environments.
6. What is the difference between a silicone fire sleeve and a standard fiberglass sleeve?
A silicone fire sleeve includes a silicone rubber coating that provides improved resistance to flame, molten splash, oil and abrasion.
